U.S. Steel to idle 3 plants affecting 3,500 workers
According to MarketWatch: “United States Steel Corp. said late Tuesday that it will idle three plants over the next several weeks. The affected plants are in Keewatin, Minn.; near Detroit, Mich.; and near St. Louis, Mo. The company said it will consolidate production at other plants. About 3,500 employees will be affected by the idling.”
