ON Semiconductor eyes more layoffs; lowers 4Q outlook

According to Forbes, AP: “ON Semiconductor Corp. (nasdaq: ONNN) said Wednesday it is racheting up cost-cutting measures, including laying off about 1,500 employees and accelerating a series of scheduled factory closures this year. It also lowered its revenue outlook for the fourth quarter.”

According to insider info: “Senior executives will be forced to take a total of six weeks unpaid time off in the first half of the year. Other employees will be taking a total of four weeks unpaid time off in the same period or asked to work a four-day work week.”
