Ohio unemployment fund runs out
Ohio’s unemployment compensation fund has been depleted, forcing the state to begin borrowing federal funds.
Officials say no disruptions in benefits are expected.
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services said Monday the federal government has already approved $500 million to be borrowed by Ohio to pay benefits in January and February. The state has requested that it be able to use $50 million of that amount to pay benefits this week.

Why dont they get the needed money from the corporations who sent our jobs to India and China and elsewhere? How about also asking the governments of these other nations to fund our unemployment system. These CEO’s need to be thrown in prison for creating an economic collapse as well as a national security problem with our data being scattered across the world - all in the name of fattening their own wallets and NOTHING ELSE. This is all about them. This bullshit needs to stop now.
I was told social security pays for unemployment in Ohio, is that true. If not please send confirmation so my brother in law and I can get it straight. Thanks Mary Jane Palker
