Plantronics to layoff 18% of global work force
Plantronics (NYSE: PLT) will lay off 18 percent of its worldwide work force, cut management salaries and reduce other operating expenses, company officials announced today. Company officials did not release details about the timing or location of the layoffs.
Plantronics is a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and marketer of lightweight communications headsets, telephone headset systems, and accessories for the business and consumer markets. It is headquartered in Santa Cruz.
