Agilent Technologies to Cut Another 2,700 Jobs
According to DowJones, WSJ: “Agilent Technologies Inc. (A) shares gained after the company said it is eliminating another 2,700 jobs, its third round of cuts since December, as it tries to cope with huge drops in revenues.
Including 1,400 job cuts previously announced, the scientific instrument maker has now cut about 20% of its global work force and will now restructure two of its three units.”

Many folks who were affected left by end of April. The layoffs had global impact including India and China (howzzat!).This slowdown has given us a lesson - avoid working for any company that claims it is the market leader in any field. Ciao.
