Amazon to Close Three Distribution Centers
Over the next two months, the online retailer, Amazon.com, will close 3 distribution centers: in Red Rock, Nev.; Munster, Ind.; and Chambersburg, Pa. The 210 employees in those three facilities were informed Wednesday. They will get severance packages and an opportunity to transfer to other Amazon shipping locations.

Their support centers in India suck big times and pretty much useless if something goes a little wrong. Also, Amazon’s ‘free super saver’ delivery is a pure catch and cannot be advertised as a ‘delivery’ at all. Amazon + USPS lost my package 2 times and even after 1 month they did deliver nothing. Amazon Support center is good only to copy-paste same standard crap. Looks like Mr.Bezos is now excited with a new toy - Kindle 2, so he does not need my few hundred bucks I tried to pay him for a Canon lens.
I have been dealing with Amazon almost since the company’s inception and have used their super saver shipping option every time except once when I HAD to have them overnight me a virus program. Their service has always been excellent.
